Wedding Dress by Enneagram Number

What Dress You Would Wear Based Off of Your Personality.

If you haven’t taken the enneagram test before.. you’re going to want to before reading these! You can take the test here. It is one of the best tests I have taken! I’m an enneagram 2w3 by the way! Like stereotypical HARD 2 lol. I find the enneagram to be such a cool way to get to know yourself deeper.. it really puts words to things about me that I had always known but didn't know how to express! Big fan. And I’m assuming if you’re on this page, you’re a big fan too! Let’s get into it.

1.THE REFORMER

The Rational, Idealistic Type: Principled, Purposeful, Self-Controlled, and Perfectionistic

Elegant and trendy with a sentimental touch. I think you would wear this dress because it is beautifully symmetrical, simple, classic, and elegant. You’re probably really particular about laces, fabrics, and fit that you like. Thus making a gorgeous crepe cap sleeve gown not only an easy choice but a stunning one at that. This dress is truly perfect, and I don’t mean that in the cliche sense.

The wedding dress featured is PR SS20 ANITRA by Pronovias. This stunning crepe gown features a sleek, bateau neckline, embroidered cap sleeves, and a breathtaking scoop back framed in carefully cut, lace placements mirrored in the mermaid skirt’s delicate edging.

2. THE HELPER

The Caring, Interpersonal Type: Demonstrative, Generous, People-Pleasing, and Possessive

Romantic, romantic, romantic! Light, effortless, and dreamy. Very Cinderella-esk. Cinderella herself was somewhat of a helper, so no surprise that a 2 would be in a beautiful ball gown! Although not over the top, just under-stated enough for the 2 to feel comfortable. Naturally the 2 won’t want too much attention on themselves so this dreamy and effortless ball gown is perfect.

The wedding dress pictured is “MAGNOLIA” by Galia Lahav. Corseted ballerina ballgown made of soft silk tulle, a draped corset, and a sheer voluminous skirt.

3. THE ACHIEVER

The Success-Oriented, Pragmatic Type: Adaptive, Excelling, Driven, and Image-Conscious

Everything on trend and the best anyone has seen! Because you are the type of bride to have multiple outfit changes, it seemed fitting to show two very likely dresses you would wear. You want your dress to blow people out of the water. A designer like Galia Lahav would do just that. Having both a ballgown and a fitted gown allows you to show off the body you work so hard for!

The gown on the right is “FABIANA” by Galia Lahav. A gown made for royalty, the Fabiana is a hand embroidered masterpiece. This voluminous 3D ballgown features a sheer corset top and scoop neckline, with a full skirt made of embroidered tulle and further adorned with 3D floral embellishments.

The gown on the left is “ESTELLE” by Galia Lahav. A sheer mermaid dress made entirely of sparkly beaded fishnet with intimate beaded fringe details and hand embroidered floral accents. This sensual dress offers a plunging v neckline, drop low back and detachable sleeves.

4. THE INDIVIDUALIST

The Sensitive, Withdrawn Type: Expressive, Dramatic, Self-Absorbed, and Temperamental

Extremely unique and slightly vintage. Oh the desire and need to be different.. A 4 is as non-tradition as it gets. A fun sleeve is on the tame side for a 4. Color, texture, and unique fabrics are all up the ally for a type 4 bride. Slightly moody, and melodramatic.. a 4 is bound to make an artistic statement with their dress because of viewing the dress for what it is, design. art. craftsmanship.

The dress above is “Ruby” by Danielle Franklel. It is a silk wool gown with train. Pleated, delicate tulle sleeves are gathered with grosgrain detail.

5. THE INVESTIGATOR

The Intense, Cerebral Type: Perceptive, Innovative, Secretive, and Isolated

5’s do not require social validation allowing them to go bold and unique with their dress. They would hate to see someone else in it because they value originality. A 5 would definitely choose something whimsical and intricate. Their appreciation for really thought out design would love the embroidered beadwork on this number.

The dress is style AMELIE by Anna Campbell. It is created from the most exquisite embroidered tulle, embellished with 3D laser cut flowers and petals, secured with glass beading and sequins, the Amelie Dress is pure romance. A full skirt drapes beautifully from your waist, with a deep neckline and sheer open back.

6. THE LOYALIST

The Committed, Security-Oriented Type: Engaging, Responsible, Anxious, and Suspicious

As a 6, you want something you can trust! Spaghetti straps and strapless are too risky.. mermaids don’t allow you to move.. ballgowns are too fussy.. You just want something that is not going to rip, not going to show stains, functional if you will. This dress is a solid choice for a 6.

This is the “Pauline” STYLE #2025 by Morilee Madeline Gardner. It has frosted, embroidered appliqués on a Tulle, A-Line gown with scalloped hemline and a diamanté and moonstone beaded belt.

7. THE ENTHUSIAST

The Busy, Fun-Loving Type: Spontaneous, Versatile, Distractible, and Scattered

The most fun dress! As a 7 you want sparkles, lace, flowy fabric…but fitted ! I don’t think anyone would say this dress isn’t SO FUN! Perfect for a 7 because it has all of the elements. A layer of glitter tulle and crystal buttons to add the finishing touches! This dress is anything but boring!

This dress is 1193 by Martina Liana. With a classic sweetheart neckline and fit-and-flare silhouette, the difference is truly in the details. Encrusted with stunning beadwork and delicate 3D elements embedded throughout laser-cut chiffon, the laces are intentionally placed throughout the gown to create a unique and multidimensional look. A layer of glitter textured tulle adds another pop of dimension and shine, complementing the beadwork and crystal buttons at the back. Finally, the off-the-shoulder lace sleeves extend into decadent tulle straps which tie in the back to create a floor-length bow feature for a statement at every angle.

8. THE CHALLENGER

The Powerful, Dominating Type: Self-Confident, Decisive, Willful, and Confrontational

Sleek and stunning. An 8 is confident and can wear a daring silk slip dress. Eights are the true “rugged individualists” of the Enneagram. More than any other type, they stand alone. They want to be independent, and often refuse to “give in” to social convention. Although they are usually aware of what people think of them, they do not let the opinions of others sway them. This silk crepe gown makes for the perfect statement piece their wedding.

The featured dress is “CERISE” by Savannah Miller. It is 100% Italian silk matte crepe gown with very a gentle cowl neckline with micro spaghetti straps. The scooped back features a gentle drape which extends to an elegant puddle train.

9. THE PEACEMAKER

The Easygoing, Self-Effacing Type: Receptive, Reassuring, Agreeable, and Complacent

A dreamy dress for a positive bride. Your unpretentious, and good-natured spirit just felt like it belonged in beautiful lace. There is something that is so perfect about this for a 9 but I can’t quite put it to words! This is 100% what I picture my type 9 friends in.

(also I may be a HARD 2 but 9 is what I ranked second highest for.. hehe love ya’ll.)

This is G-408 by Galia Lahav. Romantic 3D embellishments scatter throughout this A-line gown with long fitted sleeves and deep plunging V neckline and back like seashells settling in the sand.

Let’s talk enneagram if you’re into it like me! Dm me on ig and we can discuss if you think your dress choice is accurate!
